Mana orang jual R2E2 sampai begitu mahal. Tempat lain semua jual bawah < RM 6.00.

R2E2 = Apple Mango, rasa ada sedikit masam bila untuk bahagian isi hampir kepada biji. Yang bagus untuk buah ini, buahnya besar & isinya tebal.

The ester smell very unique & strong but the ripe fruit is too squishy / easily injured. The unripe fruit can be very sour.

Nope, only the avoid excessive amount of consuming. Mango help in bowel movement , where got heaty. Heaty because the farmer / trader are using the carbide to artificially ripen the fruits.

If you haven't try, it is ok to spend to try it out. Some Village Grocer outlets got sell by weight /loose .

If you ask whether it is value for money? I'll say Thai's Farlan & Black Gold Mango can come quite close to Harumanis but selling at more affordable range.

The season should be around March to April . Usually you can find it at Econsave and NSK. The skin is dark green in color. This Black Gold is the sweetest mango so far I ever tasted. The succulent is red orange in color. There is hardly any sour taste, even the half ripe fruit tasted sweet. Because it is so sweet, the higher > the sweetness , the easier the fruit will get rotten. I suspect due to this issue, the Black Gold is no longer so popular among the farmer or traders due to short shelf lifespan.




The second photo was Black Gold, the staff wrongly put the naming as Chukanan, Chukanan more fibrous then Black Gold , less sweet compare to Black Gold.

Got fragrance but it is very mild.
