Bubble wrap ? Worried my panel get damages. It's 6k ringgit monitor

Go to a shop that does packing. There's one in the basement parking of Starling Mall @ Uptown damansara that does custom boxes for people to ship things out. Its basically thick cardboard box with high density foam custom cut to shape and size of your product with proper support to keep everything not moveable. Essentially the same way your monitor is packed when it came in a box. The boxes they've custom made have shipped things way more expensive and fragile than your monitor. So you should be safe.

Its not too expensive also considering the cost of your monitor. Should set you back around 200-300, most of the cost is labour, not materials.

Have a discussion with SBS Transit 170 bus driver. Mount monitor inside the back of the bus. Unmount and get off at Queens street. Profit!!

Going through mover lol

Ship overseas get professional to box it up for you with proper foam packing and box.

Can go find those packaging/crating companies to quote you.
May cost you a couple of hundreds just for the packaging.

Yup, but now it's a personal asset kan ?

if u r reporting for self employed, i think should be able to claim , as you said you are using this for your business. if not because of business, you wouldnt need to incur such cost... even personal gaming dont need such monitor....

so technically, it should be charged under business expenses. if any tax fker dare to question, i will fk them upside down.

Erm you can hand carry and SG kastam won't bother so much for used item and just tell the officers you move to SG they'll let you pass as long you don't be jackass, then officers will chit chat touch touch your item Incase you hiding something that what i remember

I mean you can call a friend in sg ask him pickup you at JB and paid your friend a SGD 200 and worry less than using courier

Or just call a local taxi then drive you to SG cab terminal that going JB that the max distance they can go , then straight tell the cab driver paid them extra SGD 50 for carry your personal item the rest follow meter before can driver speech usually they're okay one also worries less than courier

That what i remember how i moved my personal item few decades ago

u can always call IRAS and ask....
one thing about sg, their garment dept very efficient, so u can call or email them , get clear reply fast and easy. if someone duno, he will escalate to his boss, etc etc. because people there are accountable for their answers and replies .

in marehsia, u call till next century also duno will angkat, and the person also duno how to answer u in a coherent manner. most likely get a template reply, with no clear answer at the end.
i can foresee , " hmm tak pasti la, encik cuba lah, claim. kalau tak lepas kita akan bagitau dan cancel"

email also maybe if lucky they will reply.

True man. No work ethics, something these people really lack. If get paid, one should do their best to deliver.

OK la bro, so many things to do.
I need to move my kids and also contact movers. Most probably not all we will pack and move. We are still keeping our house here as SG is not really our final destination. Just do the bare minimum la

It's Singapore only right? Just drive to Singapore in private car to move all the fragile equipment. Freight cost is expensive otherwise just to send a single item.

Am using a international mover la..got other boxes to send as well
It is not really permanent as we might move to NZ few years later. Damn like nomad lol

International mover? Why didn't you ask them first? I think it's well within their service if you had asked. Maybe they'll ask for dimensions and photos, and pack it on the spot when they comes over.

Then find the review of that company. You should be able to filter out fake and genuine reviews.

If you are willing to pay extra, then they should be willing to provide the service. That being said, never used one before.
