Has anyone tried purchase Knoxhult with removal of original top wooden worktop and replace with quartz surface?
I ask the IKEA salespersons, they ask me to go for metod which is 2 - 3x times expensive for base cabinet than whole Knoxhult cost. Knoxhult doesnt sell by parts like other kitchen series so it will comes as whole.
They doesn't have a concrete answer for me if Knoxhult can support Quartz surface.
For a cabinet to support stone countertop, you will need baseboard as its base before putting the stone counter. Knoxhult lacks the baseboard for stone counter installation. You can however consider customizing a solid wood top and put it on top of the existing countertop that comes with Knoxhult. It wont break your bank and provide sufficient durability for cooking.
