Has anyone tried purchase Knoxhult with removal of original top wooden worktop and replace with quartz surface?

I ask the IKEA salespersons, they ask me to go for metod which is 2 - 3x times expensive for base cabinet than whole Knoxhult cost. Knoxhult doesnt sell by parts like other kitchen series so it will comes as whole.

They doesn't have a concrete answer for me if Knoxhult can support Quartz surface.

For a cabinet to support stone countertop, you will need baseboard as its base before putting the stone counter. Knoxhult lacks the baseboard for stone counter installation.

You can however consider customizing a solid wood top and put it on top of the existing countertop that comes with Knoxhult. It wont break your bank and provide sufficient durability for cooking.

Thanks for your clarification. Metod will have the baseboard come along?

I heard from one of the stone supplier said, still have to add on support base if Metod want to install stone top.

I just realised Metod also does not come with baseboard but I saw people just install stone counter directly on it. Perhaps it is more stable hence can be installed directly?
