Cbr 1000rr I don't know but u can ask some mech, maybe they know.... From my observation kawasaki zephyr 1100, z1000, zxr 750 & gpz 550, they all have loud clunk sound... Maybe u should hear it urself....
But my mech oso said that no need to worry..no harm done.. It is the system...

Btw Roda-Roda magazine also confirm this when testing the new ZX-10R.... They said that  this bike still have the same loud clunk as before... 

lol actually im so in love with the K9 so so so much... but due to current budget constraint, cannot own it yet 

so somewhere in the future, i tell myself i have to get the K9 for sure.. probably gonna bring that machine back to malaysia hehe...

The new ZX10 currently got 200hp.... S1000RR got 195hp but faster.... U should get this if u'r a speed junkie....

But as speed goes for every new 1000cc sbk, funs end at 299..... So in theory it's just the same.... Summore with our Autobahn u'll most unlikely be doing such speeds..... lol.....

you two taikor tune your bike after replacing the exhaust? I plan to do so because my bike runs hotter than it should be...

here the advises from R1 elite forum member...

"Having said all that, you should keep in mind that these bikes are tuned lean from the factory for the purposes of passing emissions requirements etc. Then when you implement more free-flowing exhaust components (slip ons, Y-Pipes, full systems, etc), you'll cause the bike to run even more lean. This makes a tune important, and it should certainly be on your list of things to do. A Power Commander is not very expensive, and that plus even an off-the-shelf map would do well for you. A custom dyno tune for YOUR bike is obviously ideal"

my exhaust mid pipe starts bluing already, it wasn't there before the Akra... looks cool but definately wasn't a good sign for a long run...

exhaust bluing due to large amounts of heat, causing blueing and discoloration of the exhaust system...

it can be on certain part of your exhaust and it's even spotty...

depending on how hard you ride your bike, and the condition of your bike, my bike is considered running a little "lean" from what I can read from it's appearance, such as the color of the exhaust tip now, later I'll pull out the spark plugs and have a read on it.

actually that is not much to worry about, bluing is still better than brownish, looks cool though! since my bike is blue, some part of the exhaust are turning blue and I started to like it lol...

I get some comments from the net on my bluing exhaust and the baffle core...

I think reflash is the best thing to do, it removes all the factory restriction (timing retard, close loop etc..)..

if you have power commander, basically you have two system fighting each other, the pc won't remove the restrictor in your ECU...

you will need to re-tune your bike if you have installed pc prior to flash, since a re-flash change quite a lot of things...

i read up some of their bike problems such as bike buck a lot, and back firing like shit after the flash, later found out that the pc with previous map causing the errors, retune it and youll be fine ...

you have pc3 or pcv? your o2 sensor is unplugged isn't it? and do you still have cat in the mid pipe?

go EURO then , buy whatever your heart desires.. modern 1 liter supersport is too powerful for anyone to use it's full potential...

for me, I'm just a regular street poser lol, I don't bother look at the performance, noneed to compare the peak HP between them, at last I choose the bike that look the best (personal preferences), they all do 300kmh top speed out of the factory, if not.. minor mods, remove speed limiters they all will do 300... if not fast enough then +turbo

the most i scared is being smoked at 299. But so far, nobody come close. Always im looking at my friend 1098s

your 2011 ZX10 easily do 300kmh..

Just received my ECU from Jett Tuning, and wow...

I have AGV Numo Flip up..quiet..if not go for Schuberth..or Nolan 104..or Caberg Duke..
