the most funniest thing is i ran out of gas just after speeding out from a traffic light

engine sputtered, and died suddenly. in the middle of the road. soooo malu

guess i was too excited riding it out of the shop and just forgot to fill up the tank.

end up have to push the bike to the side of the road, walk 5 mins (luckily) to the nearest shell station and fill up an empty mineral bottle with some petrol.

damn malu.

the only saving grace is i didn't wear a full face helmet.
the manual booklet recommends break in

i've done break-in's for some of my cars for the past few yrs, and until now, the mecahnics are still at awe how wonderful my car engine is after all those years

so i guess i have to suck up the boredom and stay at the 4k rpm line for a while... perhaps gonna take a leisure ride this weekend to rake up some few hundred km's...

edit: but i have to agree with your article at some point. my new asx, changing the oil after the critical first 1,000km - the oil is ultra clean. it's almost transpaernt in color (fully synthethic 5w oil)

Both my R1 and RSV4 Factory is registered and road legal. But mine is with the race fairing, no head light/tail light. And it was a night track day from 6-9pm

Budget is above all. For daily commute is not practical to hv a big bike, unless low mileage on each trip. More bigger, most cost. More mileage, more longer maintenance list.

R6 is the best 600cc range for me. Or else, check with Fast Bike for their Street Triple. Superb bike with superb handling. The normal version should be cheaper than R version. Sorry to say but you will never enjoy the power from the 250.

I hardly see a person crashed and tersepit by the bike. Either the bike or the rider will normally fly

jokes aside, i had let my bike slippped and it fell a few weeks after i bought it

damn, i tell you - it's hard work to upright the bike. even with proper techniques as seen in youtube

i guess you have to practise and practise. unfortunatelly, bike school never teaches how...
1. go straight to a 650cc bike. i have no experience with clutch bike, but i did well after 1 week (electric starter helps with covering up your mistakes )

2. cost to manage the bike is pleasantly affordable - for a 2 cylinder that is - rm 110 for an oil change. another rm 30 for a can of chain spray (which may last you for > 1 yr)

3. control the bike? just take it slow and always remember the rookie mistake - handle lock. don't be a mat rempit liao

these are my experience as a newbie for the past 2 months +. still a newbie. only got to 130+km/h before kaki jadi lembut liao. wind too strong

Ok, bro.... If u can afford it, just go for Blade 250R... superb bike....

Can go more than 170 km/h ++... haha

If u are not a speed junkie, then it is a good bike for u....

U mean melecur kaki because of the engine heat izzit..? Wear a proper high cut boot, n then ur feet will be ok, dun worry.. It will protect ur calf from the engine heat. N usually that problem only occurs during traffic lite etc, when the bike is stationary only because less wind blowing to cooldown the engine.

If u are really keen on red coloured er6, actually theres alot paint shops that are more than willing to respray ur whole bike to ur preferences.. Around 400 can already get it repainted with single colour scheme.
U will hardly find any bike shop that are willing to let u test ride their bikes. But, if they like personally know u, then maybe they let u test ride their bikes bro

Not really. Can buy the same day you get the bike, or ask the salesman to give u free one, while u continue looking for a better one.
Or just wear the normal helmet that most kapchais use while searching.

Basically, safety and how well it fits your head is most important.

What's your criteria for your helmet?
Have to be pink?
Have to be less than a certain price?

why not add another rm100 or so and you can get italian made, i.e. agv, nolan, etc.?
