YUp.. up to you... but if u sked that it will be a burden for u to buy ur desired bike later, better straightaway buy that bike.... u can learn....

If sound is ur priority, then better go for XJ6 (cheapest inline 4 now).... coz u'll regret if u buy er6...

But sound aside, ER6 is a good bike...

About parents objection.... I've faced that... When I'm 17...

I bought my bike secretly using my savings.... When my parents know....FFFUUU... World War 7....  

But then they accept it slowly.... Now that I'm 18, the bike restoration process is almost complete, my mom is worried about my safety...haizzz...

hehe.... Me can buy my current bike coz i buy using my savings.... I made a deal with the owner... I pay him in installments.... All by my money....

But one day... my bro saw me at the bike shop.... then the mech told my bro about the bike....

BOOOMM!! World War 7.....

My father tell me to sell the bike... But i don't want....

But then he slowly accept it...

there's a burnt mark on the pants... i think due to excessive sliding on the tarmac

but not even a scratch...

i can say i'm very lucky. but the pants goes to the trash as it was torn... (the burnt patches crumbled after i inspected it. it literally had burnt!)

Guys, I have a serious problem after the accident...

I feel the bike acceleration is too slow, and suspected something wrong with the engine or transmission

So I went for a straight line test on a safe road, and took the time to go from 0-100km/h

it goes to 100km/h from a standstill in about 5 sec w/o any hiccups, which is what it should supposed to be, according to the brochure

but it feels VERY SLOW to me now

does it mean it's time for me to upgrade to a liter bike?

please help. serious problem...

Just got my bike. Rode it just now.... Still not very good in the gear shifting... Stalled a couple of times at low speed.

When stopping shifting down gives me a lil problem... I guess I just need more time to practice ...

Hahaha didn't expect tht driving slow is the major problem.... Beginner tht is

yeap... pretty easy to get it going but smooth gear shifting is still a long way to go.
