any kawasaki 250r user??...why most of them use this bike for a short period of time???i thought this bike dont have any problem...

low power and low top speed. doesn't worth the 21k of investment. Rather save a bit for er6n or even better bike as down payment.

power lower than then 10years++ zzr250 when he is supposed to be a newer version of zzr250.
top speed around 170 which is not good enough for some bikers.

sound not that nice as well. need to change muffler and this means more $$$.

it is impossible to get r6 no matter which year.
Unless you are refering to singapore/thailand registered bike.
that is different story and usually have to risk to use it in malaysia.

sometimes people can be sensitive to words so easily huh?

I am just asking a question because if you are new, i can guide you more in mudah.my surfing. a good deed being twisted all around.

Never mind about that, back to the topic. I felt that it is unnecessary to go into 600 if you already used to 250 or even just 150. Just hope on to litre bike or perhaps more.

Usually it cost a little bit more and doesn't worth it when you decided to upgrade to 1000cc from 600cc.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14
RM85,900.00
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R
RM81,900.00
Kawasaki ZX-6R
RM66,900.00

EXCEPT you are hoping on
Kawasaki ER-6N
RM34,250.00 (OTR)

haha. er-6n is such a great bike at cheap price. Thanks to CKD.

renew road tax. everyyear go to singapore.
renew coe-doesnt worth it at all. the price could buy a new bike di.
illegal in malaysia. there are cases where bikes are confiscated by kastam/jpj directly.

on the other hand. it is cheap!

Anyway, you can try if you have relative who is singapore citizen or PR.

Lots of people in JB have superbike registered in Singapore. Because it is easy for them to renew roadtax and many of them do have PR which makes them half legal. (between legal and illegal)

2 cyclinder inline does it mean 2 strokes but what is inline means?  hmm.gif
*
2 cylinders inline in bike like er6n, zzr 250 are 4 stroke bikes.

for best comparison,
zx2r has 4 cylinders inline. 4 stroke engine.
zzr 250 has 2 cylinders, also a 4 stroke engine.

regarding the technical things, i cant really explain as i do not understand that much either.
But the basic rule is that 4 cylinders are better than 2. In terms of speed and acceleration.

Usually there are no 2 stroke bike larger than 250cc. There are some exceptions though.

another odd thing that you might want to know. BMW are producing SINGLE cylinder bikes of 600cc above.

Lower cylinders are better at travelling very very very long distance which makes bike like zzr 250 better than zx2r when long distance travel is concerned.
