Nice KTM u got there...the Akrapovic looks scary.haha...i'm hoping to get a Duke next time, i rike the design.
Used to ride Honda XR400 when i was back in Penang, planning to convert it to supermotard but still saving for it. I used to visit planet cycle quite often last time with my dad, got a zzr but because there was too much problems with it traded it and got the XR400 instead. |

QUOTE(monaz @ Mar 17 2012, 11:47 AM) I don't think its the correct way esp. if you entering the corner on higher speed. Maybe consider danger. My advice, make yourself familiar with your bike. Try different speed at corner from slow to a bit fast to learn which gear handle the best at different speed. Synchronized throttle, speed and gear at corner is important. Ya i think it might be dangerous too, say if you need to evade something during the corner and let go the clutch instantly, the bike rear end might skid. I think people normally shift down a couple of gears before the turn by blipping the throttle. It took me some time to get used to this as well, the bike kept jerking when I exit the turn at a high gear.** Get the fender eliminator as well + integrated light I remember how my dad thought me how to ride a clutch bike, he drove me to the bike shop and asked me to ride the bike back home. I think I stalled the bike at every traffic light that time. Its so embarrassing. |

QUOTE(BigSaver @ Mar 19 2012, 05:20 PM) Guys ever heard the new KTM duke 200? From what i heard of the duke 125 and 200 has the same chasis, just different engine. I think they design in such to save cost.Fall in love when first time see it, but i google around(MBC forum) they said this bike was originally from Bajaj (india) and they basically put the KTM logo. and the price RM18K++. In my mind worth to pay indian made bike with KTM logo for RM18k? Make matter more worse, when officially launch at PWTC, at the 200 chassis state 125 version. is it they bluff us?or mistakenly put the 125 sticker at the 200 version. Help me decide please |

QUOTE(Lambrettaa @ May 22 2012, 09:05 PM) Hi =] , i just got a new bike and i find that the clutch is either very high or tight ( dont know which term to use) hence when the clutch is constantly used my hand get very fatigue and its even painful sometimes. Is there any good solution to this? Thank YOU! I have the same problem too...especially riding in Penang with the traffic jams and traffic lights. Sometimes my hands even get numb while in heavy traffic, i treat it as exercise.LOLBut i think maybe adjusting the lever to suit your riding position might help perhaps? |

By revving while shifting down the you're using engine braking to slow the bike down rather than just brakes.
This method mostly helps when you're slowing down for a turn, if holding the clutch and shift down all the way, the bike might jerk or stall when you release the clutch. Correct me if im wrong...i havent been on a bike for more than a year. |
