u will only damage ur bike if u crash

if u are a real beginner..erm..my advise will be slowly through Ulu Yam - Batang Kali - Genting Highland old route. Notice this : slowly. As the road LOOK as its more dangerous then it really is.. but go slow along Ulu Yam sector ya..lot other racer there

knee scraping is not everything if u already know the max limit of ur bike. knee scraping just make you...slower.. i use knee scraping mainly as "the limit" on fun ride (public road) meaning thats the lowest I`ll go, more then that I`m going to kill myself..

when u think u already got the feel of ur bike.. Sepang Track Day is the way to go u can test ur bike and ur skill to the max. without worrying about traffic, rabbit and ghost

And I will not recommend anyone to Sepang if they still cant feel the bike... coz when u crash at Sepang..u crash HARD   I have seen a Suzzy K6 suddenly do stunt in front of me on turn 7 - 8, if u are not familiar with Sepang, that is where u speed through corners..on 150cc 2 stroker..that is where u should not brake, just throw ur bike into that corner, his (Suzzy rider) reason? He just bought his bike few days ago

nah, I disagree, the best bike to learn about cornering is still a 2stroker beast, TZM,NSR or KIPS. its just like driving an N/A car, which every movement of the control counts. on a 4 strokers, the power is available on almost all RPM range, but not 2 strokers, so u will learn about the best gearing, braking point, line, so u can get the best out of ur 2 stroke engine which need to be revved hard to get maximum grip

having said all above, its nearly 3 years since I last raced my bike really miss those time, waking up 6am in Sunday morning (even after playing futsal for 2 hours the night b4..) just to meet up with friends and have fun..

but i`m always happy to share my experience with fellow bikers  I love my Shogun now
