depends on the build quality, i had Fractal design 360 AIO running since Ryzen first gen released, until i sold if off last month.
do monitor CPU temp time to time, if motor stalled the cpu idle temp will increased and hitting max temp very fast. |

QUOTE(sakaic @ Oct 30 2023, 01:29 AM) Sorry to bump in but I am facing the same dilemma. Any maintenance needed? Need to top up coolant etc? Most AIO doesn't need refiling as they are completely sealed |

the shelf life of an aio depends on its build qualities.
i have an old pc with swiftech h240x that can be refilled. it's almost 10 years old now, and was not serviced until recently. (its coolant level was at its lowest; cpu temperature hit 95c++ under load) after serviced and refilled, it's now still running strong. (cpu temperature is back to 75c+ under load) aio is mainly for convenience. for much better coverage and performance, it's better to invest on custom water cooling. (especially when you wanna cover gpu and mobo) |
