you can get ibanez GIO's at about rm700ish, check DeadEye's thread for some low end guitars.
if you're thinking about rm500, best option would be SX in my opinion. there's even Stagg if you wanna go lower  just make sure you have at least a humbucker in the bridge position and you'll do fine  |

nice SoRrY strat there you have everdying, looks great and nice price. so how much would that strat be worth after all the modifications?

TS, do you care much about how your guitar looks? as in superstrat shapes or V or warlocks or weird shapes or would you just want a guitar that kicks ass blacktrix's suggestion seems pretty good but its best that you test them out yourself to see if YOU like how it plays. good luck finding your guitar  |
