Intermittent NVME SSD not detected in bios

I have built a new pc and successfully installed Win 11 onto the NVME. But occasionally the pc will not detect the NVME and straight go into BIOS. What I did was unpowered the pc, press and hold the power button, then restart the pc. This usually does the trick. This problem happens intermittently
The HW is Asrock B650M Riptide and Transcend mte250s 4TB. I have the latest BIOS updated. With EXPO enabled.
Could it be the CMOS battery that is causing this?

hmm there is no other drive besides this nvme drive. the other devices are keyboard and mouse. WIll try to remove them and boot tonight.
i have the latest BIOS update. The NVME drive doesnt appear in BIOS so i cant select to boot from it.
The workaround that usually works for me is power down and remove power from the PC, press and hold the power button for few seconds then power on the PC. this will usually enable to boot into windows.

I tried swapping the SSD, the good SSD is able to be detected in the PC where the faulty SSD is not being detected. Will ask for RMA and see how it goes |
