After updating everything else to 17 (iOS, WatchOS, iPadOS, TVOS & Homepod.) Decided to update Mac mini M1 and MacBook Air M1 to Sonoma RC (23A339.)
Only used for an hour, so far so good. The only app that complained about needing an update was Soundsource. Everything else either already updated or didn't need an update. Hopefully Sonoma fixes 3 things that were annoying me on Ventura. 1. Occasionally Escape key and Siri stops working. (MacBook Air M1) 2. Occasionally No audio from MacBook Air speakers. (MacBook Air M1) 3. After searching for a file in Finder and duplicating it. I'm unable to rename the duplicated file while still in the search window. Happens with Dropbox and OneDrive which are using the new Apple File Provider API. |
