Ukrainians failing to advance or gain foothold in Opytnoye in DPR — Russian top brass
According to the Defense Ministry, Russian forces have been using reconnaissance and unmanned aerial vehicles to track Ukrainian maneuvers

OPYTNOYE /DPR/, September 12. /TASS/. Ukrainian assault units have been suffering heavy losses as they have been unable to advance or gain a foothold in the village of Opytnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), despite their recent rhetoric, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

"Servicemen of the 1st Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces have been eliminating Ukrainian manpower and hardware while repelling attempts by Ukrainian assault units to break through or gain a foothold in the village of Opytnoye in the DPR. The Ukrainian assault units are suffering heavy losses, and, despite the statements they have been making, they cannot advance or gain a foothold in Opytnoye," the ministry said.

Russian forces have been using reconnaissance and unmanned aerial vehicles to track Ukrainian maneuvers, unleashing artillery fire on Ukrainian assault teams, the Russian top brass specified. "Units of the 1st Army Corps have been rebuffing attacks by Ukrainian militants as they keep the locality under control," the Defense Ministry added.

To confirm that, the ministry has released footage in which the sounds of artillery and armored vehicles in action can be heard.

Ukraine has lost 71,500 servicemen since the beginning of the counteroffensive which has yielded no results so far, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). According to the Russian leader, Kiev has already lost 543 tanks and almost 18,000 armored vehicles of various types. shakehead.gif

Shipments of new weapons to Kiev won’t affect battlefront situation — Putin
The president pointed out that the US electoral process will kick off in November and "they need to show at least some result at all costs, so they are pushing Ukrainians to continue hostilities" whistling.gif

VLADIVOSTOK, September 12. /TASS/. Deliveries of new weapons to Ukraine, including cluster munitions, depleted-uranium rounds and F-16 fighter jets, will not change the situation on the frontline, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the Eastern Economic Forum, or EEF.

"Will it change anything? I don’t think so. I'm sure it won't. Will it prolong things? Yes, it is doing so. The other thing is worrying - that there are no restrictions," he said.

He said that, "not long ago, the US Administration believed that the use of cluster munitions is a war crime, and they publicly said so."

"Now they themselves are supplying cluster munitions to the area of hostilities in Ukraine," Putin said. He noted that the US electoral process will kick off in November and "they need to show at least some result at all costs, so they are pushing Ukrainians to continue hostilities."

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov described the US decision to supply the Kiev regime with depleted-uranium shells as "very bad news" and said the use of similar munitions by NATO forces in Yugoslavia had "very sad consequences that were recorded even by international organizations," including an increase in cancer rates.

The 8th Eastern Economic Forum is being held in Vladivostok from September 10-13, 2023. The slogan for this year’s forum is: On the Path to Partnership Peace and Prosperity. The Roscongress Foundation is the event organizer. TASS is the EEF’s prime media partner.

Kherson direction
situation as of 12.00 September 12, 2023

🔻Enemy activity does not subside off the banks of the Dnieper. Yesterday morning, the AFU again landed on Pereyaslavsky (Kazatsky) island with two reconnaissance groups of 131 orbs, eight people each.

Moreover, this was the second attempt, since at night the recon groups on boats were unable to leave the pier due to the destruction of the position of the mortar crew in Olgovka, which was supposed to cover the recon groups.

Only after the deployment of an additional 120-mm mortar and artillery fire from the 406th Artillery Brigade from Tomarino, units of the 131st reconnaissance battalion were again on Kozatsky.

🔻To the west, the command of the tactical group “Grom” and the 126th Terrestrial Defense Brigade of the AFU carried out a rotation of advanced groups on four boats on the islands of Aleshkinsky and Alekseevsky, where observation points are being equipped.

The situation in this zone remains the same, but the AFU are strengthening their positions on the left bank. Artillery and mortars are continuously firing at Russian territories, and yesterday an air defense crew shot down another Tekever AR3 UAV over Vinogradovo. thumbsup.gif

Orekhovsky sector: heavy losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the entry into battle of the 71st Jaeger Brigade shakehead.gif
situation as of 19.00 on September 12, 2023

South of Orekhov, the assault on the positions of the RF Armed Forces continues. After many weeks of "meat" attacks, the enemy was able to advance between Rabotino and Verbove, and is now trying to make a gap in the defense to reach Novoprokopovka.

🔻But huge losses make themselves felt. For the first time in a long time, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine brought into battle the 1st detachment of the 71st Jaeger Brigade - five assault groups with lightly armored vehicles and weapons were deployed to the Chubenkov beam.

And units of the 71st EBR, together with the 82nd Airborne Brigade, have already taken part in the assault on the strongholds of the RF Armed Forces near Verbove, where the attack was repulsed. And the 71st brigade itself suffered its first losses.

🔻Also, the formations of the 65th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine returned to the front line and were re-equipped. And 209 people from the special forces detachment of the Special Forces of Ukraine were transferred to their subordination to storm the heights south of Rabotino.

In addition, formations of the 13th brigade of the National Guard “Charter” arrived in the rear areas in Vozdvizhevka, Upper Tersa and Dolinka due to the large number of killed and wounded in the 15th brigade of the NSU, which confirms the strengthening of the group in the south.

🔻Russian units are actively engaged in counter-battery combat, as well as point-by-point use of Lancet loitering shells. One of these drones of the 45th Airborne Brigade of the Russian Airborne Forces destroyed the Bukovel electronic warfare station near Zapasny.

Still stuck in Robotyne after 102 days since the offensive started on June 4th. innocent.gif

On the formation of new brigades of the AFU

Nothing speaks better about the impending total mobilization and heavy losses of the enemy, as well as plans for waging the autumn campaign, than the measures to form new brigades.

Five separate mechanized brigades are planned to be formed by the end of October. And four infantry formations, judging by the interceptions, are almost ready, and soon we will see them on the battlefield. And this does not take into account the 5th tank brigade of the 10th AK, which is expected to be commissioned by the end of the year.

📌 It’s interesting what the Ukrainian command emphasizes when creating new units. Infantry brigades, taking into account the favorite tactics of the “meat” assault, will be equipped only with light armored vehicles and will act as consumables to replace the depleted 9 and 10 AK forces.

They must overwhelm in numbers and wedge into the defense, creating favorable conditions for the introduction of mechanized groups into battle, and five new brigades will likely be taken into account in the enemy’s plan. The forced transfer of equipment from Germany takes on (https://t.me/rybar/51764) new colors in connection with this information.

In general, this suggests that conceptually the tactics of the Ukrainian formations will not change yet and, as predicted, total mobilization will have to cover the shortage of personnel to continue the creeping offensive, primarily in the Zaporizhia direction.

More Ukrainians; man and women to be sacrificed for the benefit of the corrupted, nefarious Bandera regime lead by the puppet clown Zelensky. shakehead.gif

QUOTE(empyreal @ Sep 13 2023, 06:59 AM)
Ironically, this means that russia is actually outspending the military aid given by the allies and is still unable to achieve its goals.

Russia is spending more than 100 bil (a third of its budget) solely on defense (whereas the aid received by ukraine includes financial and humanitarian aid).
*
What exactly are the Russian goals? Did you include aid from EU and other countries before stating the above? Where are the news sources? whistling.gif

How convenient of you not to include the billions given by EU and other countries. 😉 Not gonna waste anymore time on replies.
