I'm thinking about getting a second monitor for work and was wondering whether I could use USB-C and HDMI simultaneously for two external monitors.

The laptop ports:[/U]
USB 3.1 (Gen 1)
USB 3.1 (Gen 2)
2 x USB-C (Gen 2)
HDMI 2.0

Current setting:[U]
Using USB C to Monitor A (that has usb-c & hdmi port)
Laptop Graphics: AMD Radeon Vega10 Graphics

The plan:[U]
Using USB c to Monitor A (that has usb-c & hdmi port) - DELL S2723HC
To use HDMI from laptop to Monitor B - DELL S2421HS

Will this works?

only if the USB C support DisplayPort. It should have DP logo near the connector

Yes, the DP logo can be found on the DELL S2723HC monitor.
Does that mean I can connect a second monitor (that doesn't come with a USB-C/DP logo) to my laptop with HDMI and it should work?
