Which floor do you live on? Is your unit close to garbage room?
The closer you are to the ground or garbage room, the higher chances of having roaches. If you're far from both & you cover all the drains properly, there should be no roaches, fingers crossed. Of course, neighbors do play a role. If the adjacent units have an infestation, you're SOL
You can also complain to management and have pest control on the common area such as garbage room
Yes if close to the garbage room or if your neighbour leaves their rubbish or garbage bins outside their doors it may attract cockroaches that leads to your unit in their search for food. What I will do is I put cockroach baits near my main door (for those from your neighbours). Cockroaches love to live in storage with lots of cardboxes as they feed on the pulp. So you may also put these baits in your store room, toilets (have you ensured they don't come up from the toilet floor trap (try changing to those anti-insect floor traps). All the best! The closer you are to the ground or garbage room, the higher chances of having roaches.
