Cheap phone to use for hotspot

Hi, I am searching for the cheapest phone available in the market to use as hotspot tethering to my main phone, tablet and laptop as I am a student right now... Which phone is the cheapest with good hotspot connection and good battery life that is around RM500? Thanks piglover liked this post

U can get second hand phone , no point wasting that much for that purpose ..

Xioami redmi should be enough. Redmi 12c 499 only. I bought for my kids. Put umobile sim for hotspot to the other tablet. Work ok. I think got cheaper redmi phone. Umobile Sim can't be use in my huawei mifi.
