Fairly short ride but I have no idea how the condition of the roads from UKM to Port Dickson.

Trunk roads as will be avoiding all forms of highways.

I'm currently trying to make a selection of which bike to use.

1. MTB 29in 1x12 hardtail alloy frame 40mm gravel tyres (as heavy as it gets)
2. Semiroadie flat handlebar 50/34 11/34 groupset allu frame 28mm tyres (no suspension but faster)

Has anyone done the trip from to PD before along the coastline?

Would appreciate comments to help with my selection smile.gif

the road condition is fine assuming you're going via jenderam, salak tinggi, sepang lama & lukut. road cyclists ride this route regularly.

There would be a climb near Bukit Pelanduk to Lukut. Your hybrid would be a better choice for this ride.
