I have a table fan in my room, that I use during the day. At night sometimes I switch on AC or I use a stand fan blowing at me, since I got rid of wall fan (hard to clean, difficult to reach).

Problem is my table fan, has a lot of dust, I clean every 2 weeks or when I’m busy once a month and if I work from home a lot, even more…

so I’m thinking of changing it to a Bladeless fan, I heard that it’s less maintenance? I just need to wipe down and that’s all? Is it even reliable? And as cooling too? I don’t need it to cool the entire room cause it will be blowing at me directly.

clean your fan blade and wax it... once smooth, it will not get dusty so easy, maybe 3-4 month clean once and repeat, but still need to vacuum/mop the external grill part

yes, car wax of furniture wax/polish also can. it makes the surface smooth so less dust stick on to the fan.

Clean with a little bit dishwashing soap (or if your fan is super expensive and you dont want to damage the paint, can use car wash or hand wash/sugar soap), not just plain water, as it will remove oily residue from the fan. I find dishwashing best as it is effective, then clean/wipe off with clean water and wax it.
