In simpler terms, Wi-Fi 6 is faster and can handle more devices simultaneously compared to Wi-Fi 5. It is designed to provide a better experience in crowded environments where multiple devices are competing for bandwidth, such as in busy homes or offices.

yes noticeable improvement

but if your plan is only 100mbps and only 1person use it no point unless it is free

UNIFI offer me upgrade 100mbps to 300mbps and upgrade to wifi6 router FOC. 2 years contract. I accept jer la.. since i no plan to change ISP.. so far very satisfied
RM 129 for 300mbps

If so far happy with the wifi coverage in terms of speed within the premise, no need change.

If you always experience signal issue with shitty AC router then it’s worth to give AX a shot. Entry AX router like Asus performs quite well. Unifi mia forget it lah whistling.gif

Just yesterday my WiFi 5 asus Ac-86u failed after 5 years.
Replaced it with the WiFi 6 asus AX-86u.
This is actually just for an Ai mesh node.

But even then I do notice an increase in speed and coverage. I’ve about 40-50 IOT devices with around 10 pc/console/phone/tv/NAS that needs a constant connection.
