Stay in landed, open concept living room, dining room to kitchen area

I want to cordon off my living room to toddlers against the kitchen, the stairs can use the plug and play fence gate, but my kitchen tabletop area is more of L shaped, rather than a fixed area to install a fence gate, what are my options?

Any parents similar can share setup or tips? notworthy.gif

how old is ur child?

for me, at 2 years old the fence gate wont stop them anymore...
at 3 years old they already can reach normal door knobs..

Instead of fencing ur child in, perhaps u can fence up ur kitchen area, since it is L shape?

another 6 months, u can start teaching ur child on forbidden areas/items..
