Depend on which iphone model you're using.

Go netflix.. chat with customer support and ask.

Already chat with apple and netflix - no solution being found yet. Netflix already log the issue

I want to know if the problem only on my device or other iPhone as well

Yes on my 11 Pro Max. This will also depend on the show you are going to watch as well.

The screen brightness will shoot up, thats when you know its playing in HDR.

To test this, go into a darkroom, crank down the screen brightness to the lowest, and play Netflix movie.

for most apple devices, HDR-ready shows / movies will be Dolby Vision (another form of HDR) - tuned by Dolby.

HDR 10 (i assume this is the one you are referring to) is also available for iPhones, but very very limited only. to determine if the show supports HDR/Dolby Vision, just tap the show and it will appear on show's page itself. whatever icon that is available there, is based on the capabilities of your device.

of course, all these are also subject to the availability of the show - if it supports these technology.

for example:

Dolby Vision, HD, Spatial Audio

means that you device supports all 3 of these. to test another theory, open the same show on your 4K tv or with an Atmos enabled sound system, you will see; Dolby Vision, 4K, and Dolby Atmos.

hope this help smile.gif

Since Iphone support Dolby Vision, it will replace the HDR actually.

While you can test on non DV devices such as Samsung Phone that will appear as "HDR"
