Phenom can be used in AM2 mobo. But with some function disabled like Split lane power and higher HT Link support.
Yea. Quad is about to released. IIANM, AMD will released in Nov22.   

I think should not be out topic, due to Phenom can be use in AM2 socket.

But I see the potential of independent overclocking of each core especially to these overclocker freaks such as dblooi 

Ive tried dude,cant do more..
I think 1.5-1.55 is too hot for a windsy F2 with a stock cooler.

I pushed my cpu to 2.5-2.6 and it cant even load windows.
I push the vdimm to 2.15v and vcore to 1.45v.
Still cant do much.

Is there any solutions? 

i see F3 can reach up to 3.5~3.7GHz, in air cooling or water? is it safe for daily usage? i mean like 24/7. and HTL, no more keeping under 1GHz is it?

Yea...it is a new mobo. But I bought it for my dad

byfc2010, get a proper cooling for NB.
As long as the cpu+board is overclockable, nothing will hold u back except heat. [ Assume ram and psu not holding u back ]

I did wat u told me to do. I set the ram timing to 5-5-5-15-20-2T byusing ddr400 divider. I set trfc dimm 0 to 195 and MAL to 10. Then i push the fsb to 273(initially at 270) and i cant boot to windows. Then i push up vdimm to 2.05 but stil couldnt boot into windows. I figured out maybe need to pump some vcore and i gradually add up some vcore till +0.050 then baru bole get into windows. But the system wasnt stable and cant even do super pi 64k. I reduce the fsb to 272 but stil couldnt get a stable system running. Then i add up vcore to +0.075 using 272 fsb baru system stable a bit but fail at superpi 4m.

By looking at this result, what exactly resisting me from getting higher fsb??
