Go for it. I think TA690G is better than the board you using now.
I might be wrong too. -pWs- |

1. Try to use other CPU Multi. Some board having problem w the x.5 multi
2. Does your ram plug to the slot nearest to the CPU? If not, you will need more Vcore to gain the particular speed. 3. Loose your MAL and Tref. 4. You might as well try other ram dividers. -pWs- This post has been edited by -pWs-: Dec 13 2007, 06:39 AM |

I think 2.0 Vdimm should be enough.
If not, then only try 2.1V. 2.25v a bit too high already Got active cooling for ram?? -pWs- |

QUOTE(rainingzero @ Dec 14 2007, 02:13 PM) i suspect the problems comes from his PSU.... maybe need to try other PSU?? suppose the rams wouldn't bottlenecking his ocing... QUOTE(jeromeccm @ Dec 14 2007, 02:22 PM) i am using a cooler master 450watt real power I think your PSU having problem too. Do you have other PSU to try??here is the link. http://www.coolermaster.com/products/produ...cate=173&id=192 I bought about 5 months ago. QUOTE(tapirus @ Dec 14 2007, 02:20 PM) s#it...mine can boot and run super pi at 3.55GHz 1.525 Vcore and 2.2 vdim..usind 400 divider...but i try orthos failde around 15 minutes..WTF...should i increase more vcore... idle 42 load 54 pwm when load around 74 I doubt you can orthos for long time @ that speed. Kinda hard it's consider stable if we run orthos with divider 400...then pass for 8 hours..after that we change divider to 533 @ above...got any different in stability or not???should we run orthos back??? -pWs- This post has been edited by -pWs-: Dec 14 2007, 02:28 PM |

QUOTE(jeromeccm @ Dec 14 2007, 02:44 PM) Ok... got to look for volunteer already... ke ke ke..... I think so. i have a question... i notice alot of people here using 3800+ and can OC until 3.4GHz above.... does this means the 3800+ at 3.4GHz can out perform the stock 6000+ running at 3GHz? But bear in mind that, 6000+ L2 cache is 2MB together IIANM. Provided that 3800 clocked @ 3GHz same as 6000+, 6000+ only win by a bit. -pWs- |

QUOTE(jeromeccm @ Dec 14 2007, 02:48 PM) yeah.. the menu can only change the bus speed, and cpu and ram voltage... i am sure this is not ment for hard OCers Clockgen nice and easy to use. by the way, the display CPU voltage and the CPUz varies also.... any third party OC tool? i notice in forum alot of people use ClockGen... -pWs- |
