QUOTE(Oblivon @ Nov 23 2007, 09:29 PM) yea bro, intel is nono to me because quite expensive, tight budget. anyway my budget for proc, mobo and ram is around RM600+ Do you eager to overclock?? The processor that you choose is fine. Motherboard try to get Biostar TA690G. Cheap and nice overclockability motherboard. For ram, I think with that budget, get those value ram will do. -pWs- |

At last you order the Windsor F3. You will have fun w it. Default Vcore can bring you to 3.1GHz. -pWs- |

QUOTE(alive88 @ Nov 23 2007, 09:38 PM) bro... Go for Biostar TA690G. It is much easier to overclock using that.DFI Infinity nF Ultra II-M2 or ta690g or abit kn9 ultra? which is the best...im thinking to sell my mobo...huhu...i regretted that i was thnking to add sli..how fool i am For DFI, I am not saying that the board is not good. Just that DFI Inf UltraII-M2 need higher Vcore to achieve the same clock speed if compared to Biostar TA690G. This is what i found out. No proof though For Abit Kn9 Ultra, I am not sure then. Have to ask others already -pWs- |

QUOTE(Oblivon @ Nov 23 2007, 09:38 PM) I'm eager to overclock, but then with the budget i having now i dont think enough lah F3 is easy to get for high end processor i think. For 3800 F3, it is hard. FYI. There is one bulk organized by dblooi. But, too bad, I think the slot for those processors is full. QUOTE(ocz @ Nov 23 2007, 09:41 PM) heheh...you can always see my inbox full of poison for F3. Go for active cooling then. Go Garage Sales and find AllnGap mod ram cooler. 100% recommended by me But,the problem is,im still not sure if my ram can do above stock vDIMM,its hot d. -pWs- |

QUOTE(Oblivon @ Nov 23 2007, 09:42 PM) If you buy retail one, there should be 3 years full warranty from AMDQUOTE(alive88 @ Nov 23 2007, 09:43 PM) The price should be below 300. You can ask jy14 for the price. -pWs- |

For benchmark purposes, i do increase it until 2.5v which is maximum for my board.
For 24/7, I limit myself to 2.2v. Scare will spoil my ram. -pWs- |

QUOTE(ocz @ Nov 23 2007, 09:54 PM) oic,im not sure whats my crucial's stock vcore.Stated from the website is 2.2v. DDR2 Vdimm is always 1.8v. In bios is 1.85v and in cpuz is 1.8v. Dont know which is correct. For the Vdimm which advertised, that is the Vdimm you needed to achieve that particular speed and timing. -pWs- |

QUOTE(nadeng1987 @ Dec 2 2007, 02:12 AM) bro -pws- Your details pls Please update mine. OC cant go higher due to 'sayurness' value ram. Even top up vcore to +0.050, i can up to 273 only. Soo better stick to 270mhz which is rock stable indeed. ![]() No details no add QUOTE(CV6149 @ Dec 2 2007, 03:01 AM) huh???? Yup. Im using Nforce4 chipset.......1800 is the highest achieved with no impact to stability at all. -pWs- |
