I want to ask for advice regarding the situation above title.
How did it happen? I applied for a job in Jobstreet and had 2 round of interview. After that interview, I got a call that I was selected the role after a week. The Hr arrange a meeting to discuss the offer letter and salary on the next day.
I did make some discussion on when I should be on board and etc and that The HR agreed to the arrangement.
A week later, I got surprised that they reschedule another interview with me with another team manager and that round I did the same effort and already explain to the team manager but he was not impressed and directly said I am not suit to the role.i explain to him about the situation and that told to him to align with the Hr.
I got back to the previous recruiter and told about the situation, she said I will get a callback on thursday but there's was still no callback. Yesterday was Friday, I did update them again yet no one replied.
My opinion: By my view, I should just move on but all I hope its a respond for a final verdict before applying to another job.
As long there's no offer letter, any santa claus can claim as santa Claus.
Update: after 2 weeks of no respond ,I wasted my money to call this recruiter from China ,ended up she told me the position was on hold

QUOTE(Darkcloudz @ May 29 2023, 11:35 AM) can you tell which company is this? So people can aware and blacklist them. Can clearly see there's misalignment internally and they are taichi-ing to shoo you off. I cant directly tell but it's the opposite of team blue in pc world

QUOTE(petpenyubobo @ Jun 23 2023, 10:42 PM) As in the bolded part you stated, the previous manager was reluctant to hire you under his team. He threw you back to HR and ask them to reassign you to another dept. Very common thing now in Malaysian unprofessional hiring ethics. No fixed and common decision. It already hinted to you that the company you applied to has a messy management so take caution before deciding to join them. if hes reluctant ,then why make me go through 2 round of interview ?

QUOTE(HappyA_Q @ Jun 24 2023, 02:34 PM) I would say the hiring manager is not professional, and the HR involved is not strong enough to push back to the hiring manager. Don't feel upset, polish your skills and if in future some other roles in that MNC comes up, they will hire you with big dollars. Treat it as a challenge to make yourself stronger. The more rejections you got, the more experiences you gain. i got the similar skill but i just dont work in their environment ,that can go wrong too ?
