Hi,

i hope its ok to ask this question here.
From what i've read WSA rely on amazon appstore, thus only supported countries and regions can use it.
Can windows 11 WSA use apk without amazon appstore? or windows 11 malaysia still no WSA available?

i've read news that microsoft redesign windows 11 and i might dual boot it soon.

From what i read from other site, you can use aurora store,
but you have to install F-Droid then aurora store.

Tried to install Amazon app store and it straight tell me it will not work.

What are you trying to do with WSA? for hassle free you better just use Blustack,

There are other way such as running Android Emulator thru Android Studio, with this you can have cutting edge android version installed, without the ad infested like bluestack.

Don't know why MSFT released such awesome thing and yet it feels like half baked approach.
side loading app probably unlikely imho.

thanks for the link. bookmarked it.

What are you trying to do with WSA? - i just want to experiment with it. as i am chromeOS user, would like to try WSA on win11.

last time tried bluestack, full of ads. others android emulator works well, but not really into it.

the stability outweighs the annoyance though,
for experiment the platform, native android emulator by google still the best, you can just install Android until Tiramisu iirc.
Bluestack and android emulator both are abang adik actually, both using virtualbox but skinned.

i wouldnt advise to tamper with the OS, especially the WSA trick by abovementioned website.
installing random stuff from app store with hacks might open backdoor for hackers or cause data leak.

emulator are like sanbox which is much safer as long as you dont install unknown apps.

its not my main laptop, so i often experiment with other OS.
but soon, my main laptop need to be reformat and thinking to migrate to win11.
WSA is just an experiment, dont really have a need for it.
