QUOTE(RochoaEvans @ May 26 2023, 09:17 AM) is this some kind of BSOD? is it something wrong with the HDD? last time I check using HD Sentinel the health is still in good condition.. Do I need to change the HDD? This is the system attempting to boot via PxE![]() ![]() ![]() aka boot from a drive on your network check your bios settings and make sure your drive is detected and is higher in the priority list If you don't see your drive in bios or it still doesn't boot, the drive may have failed without warning |

Take out your HDd/ SDD / M.2 nvme and try on others computer.
Check your BIOS , your windos installed in IDE/AHCI mode or install in RAID mode. |

Most likely HDD failure (no warning), or remote possibility of the SATA controller has died (has happened to me)

TS, check in bios to see if the HDD is detected. Look under storage or device config.

There are few things might be causing this "boot-loop in PXE" mode...
Try this steps-by-steps :- 1) Reset the UEFI/BIOS to "Factory Default", then check whether the "Storage/Boot Type = AHCI", next is to Save & Exit. Perform boot as normal. 2) Try also change from AHCI --> Legacy 3) If failed, swap the SATA Cable but don't use the CDROM cable as HP tends to use slower cable type for CDROM. 4) If failed, change the HDD SATA cable to another SATA port on the mainboard, HP usually have 2-3 ports. 5) If failed, remove the HDD & plugin another HDD see whether it detects or not. let me know the results on these and hope it helps... ![]() |
