They transfered a lot of Nissan tech over to their other cars since the first Fluence appeared in MY. Captur & Koleos has Nissan engine in it. Dunno which is the last version to have Nissan stuff in it since they parted ways. These was quite popular in EU due to the price and also the Nissan thing.

after sales sucks so bad and many cost cutting on parts and build quality

99% of the renault you see otr are fleet/lease cars, almost nobody buy them anymore

The interior look like toy car. Get Ativa better.

Less overall prob but check juga lah yinside pakai what engine?

If renault engine dia ada sikit manja.

i think malaysia selling the first gen only (first released in 2013 internationally), new gen 2019 one they didn't bother to bring in, continue selling the old gen. you actually buying decade old car model

It has a Nissan 1.2T engine.

BUT problem is the DCT gearbox.

Many ppl sold theirs off right after warranty expires.

if dct problem, TC got replace ?

Just think about it, Renault only has 1 service center in penang, kl, and johor

sparepart dealers that carry renault parts? I don't think they exist lol

if the car koyak anywhere in between those 3 states, u also koyak

Infiniti only got 1 in whole of Malaysia, @ Batu Caves.

But iirc, you can service at other Tan Chong Service Centers.

But really if looking at captur better to go for koleos instead 2.5 nissan dna engine very easy to maintain

Got nissan engine, renault dual clutch gearbox. Very fuel efficient car.

There was one time I keep seeing this car on road. But reviews seem bad.

not exactly accurate. Fluence is developed by Renault and Samsung. Only the engine and the CVT from Nissan. The chassis is from Renault Megane, the interior as well - completely the same as the Renault Megane. So technically we can't say it is a Nissan Sylphy.

I would said that Captur is a reasonable car albeit you purchase a used unit. Price will be cheaper. Driving exprience is better comparing to a lot of local cars and also Japanese entry B segment cars. Since it is a used unit, you wont have to worry about the resale price. Just make sure you get your 1 year warranty from the day you get your car. Fuel friendly, easy to drive. The only thing is the interior, not as practical as other cars.
