Strange 2nd game...

12-2... 10 points behind, and they are going into long rallies like throwing the game and going for 3rd game.

Ding dong ding dong, it was 12-5 and 13-5... service back to the koreans.

Yet somehow the korean pair lost 7 points in half hearted long rallies and give easy free points... and it's 13-12 and it's anyone's game .

A sad finished for Christian Adinata.

Round 1, beat Wangcharoen.
Round 2, win danish Johannesen.
Qty-final, beat Kidambi.

Semi-final, vs Prannoy.

He was behind 11-1, then caught up and 17-17. Looks like gaining momentum and can win the 1st game... then his knee gave way and have to be wheeled out on a wheelchair.

Next match will continue at 6pm.

The last match is men's doubles,
MAN Wei Chong/Kai Wun TEE vs
Leo Rolly CARNANDO [8]/Daniel MARTHIN

Now on, Yamaguchi vs Han Yue. Tunjung already booked a place in tomorrow's final.

Surprising that Yamaguchi has not withdrawn from this tournament. She's looking good. Many other top players are taking a rest after last week Sudirman Cup.

Next week is Thailand Open. Next, next week, Singapore Open. And the following week, Indonesia Open, super 1000.

Lots of badminton in the coming weeks. smile.gif

The top 4, Yamaguchi, An Se Young, Tai Tzu Ying and Chen Yu Fei have a strangle hold the 4 semi final places for quite some time.

Today, a few moments ago, TTY lost to Marin and Yamahuchi to Intanon.

Plus All England. Super 1000 and 750 tournaments.

They monopolized the ranking points among themselves unlike the other disciplines, a vast gap btw them and others.

An Se Young challenging the number 1 spot this year.

Several service errors... give free points instead of winning consecutive points.

Lucky got brains, in early 3rd game, Soh do flick serves and curi 2-3 points.

Yes, don't forget they're world champions. smile.gif

If consistent in the coming tournaments till end of the year, could be #1 ranking.

World #1 is not something to sneeze at.
