๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ Some possibilities of why Wong Choong Hann resigned from BAM:

During his playing career, Wong Choong Hann was one of the most respected opponents of Taufik Hidayat, even before the emergence of Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei. Taufik had openly expressed that one of his strongest opponents was the left-handed Wong Choong Hann.

In a live conversation between Tan Boon Heong and Taufik, the latter revealed that his main competitors in the 2004 Olympics were left-handed players Lin Dan and Wong Choong Hann. However, Lin Dan's unexpected loss in the first round to Singapore's Ronald Susilo boosted Taufik's morale, and he went on to win the gold medal in the 2004 Olympics.

Wong Choong Hann possessed excellent net control with his left hand, while Taufik's impressive skills were his front-court play and backhand shots. However, Wong Choong Hann's proficiency in net control limited Taufik's tactics in the front court and backhand exchanges, making him fear opponents who were left-handed.

When Lee Zii Jia was under the tutelage of Wong Choong Hann in the national team, it was evident that Lee's net control skills improved. However, after Lee Zii Jia left the national team, his net control skills gradually declined. In this year's Sudirman Cup, with Wong Choong Hann coaching Lee Zii Jia, the latter demonstrated more patience, composure, and focus in facing opponents, leading to commendable results. It is believed that under the coaching of Li Mao, a master of net control, Lee Zii jia's net control skills will noticeably improve in the future.

After becoming the director and coach of the national team, Wong Choong Hann faced a series of player and coach departures. While he bears some responsibility, the main blame lies with the high-ranking management. Wong Choong Hann has simply been made a scapegoat. Following the disappointing performance at this year's East Asian Games, Badminton Academy CEO Cai Han Jing took the initiative to resign and assume responsibility. Today, it was announced that Wong Choong Hann will also be leaving.

What do you think is the main reason of the resignation of Wong Choong Hann?

Several service errors... give free points instead of winning consecutive points.

Lucky got brains, in early 3rd game, Soh do flick serves and curi 2-3 points.

Nowadays the defence is incredible.
They can just stand their ground and defend the shuttle back easily.

I don't know is it their smashes are not longer as powerful as past players like Fu Haifeng and Cai Yun.
Or has MD reached a new level in defending.

Most fixed tournament ever.
How the bookies "know" that Malaysian pair will trash the higher ranked Taiwanese pair at home ground in 3rd set?

When gamblers lose money they will claim 'fixed'

Actually overall I did not lose. But I can tell a fixed competition when I see one.

If you need me to show you my records for this entire competition I can do that. It's still a winning record but not by much.

But it's ok. I feel very sorry for you for not seeing the obvious

Even if I did lose this one, getting to know your intelligence level more then compensates for this.

I only lose rm20 over this one but worth it to know your intelligence level.

Thanks.

You like to pick fights and arguments with people it seems.
Must be stressful to be a gambler.
I don't know how gambling stress feels like since I don't gamble and always oppose gambling.

As for intelligence, your reply exposes your intelligence a lot more laugh.gif

Whenever gamblers lose money, always become angry and bitter.

LOL ๐Ÿคฃ

Blame everybody when it is their own mistake.

Choong Hann is now HK men's singles coach

PETALING JAYA: Wong Choong Hann (pic) has joined the Hong Kong national team as its new men's singles coach.

Choong Hann, who resigned from his position as Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) singles coaching director last month, has replaced Wong Tat Meng in Hong Kong.

Tat Meng resigned from his position last month to become independent shuttler Lee Zii Jia's coach.

Meanwhile, BAM are still searching for a suitable replacement for Choong Hann.

Choong Hann is excited to start his new journey in Hong Kong.

โ€œIt will be my first coaching stint outside of Malaysia and Iโ€™m looking forward to it, โ€œ said Choong Hann, who is expected to start next week.

โ€œIโ€™ve the experience of coaching in Malaysia for more than four years, it will help me as I guide the singles players in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong approached me as soon as they heard that Iโ€™ve resigned here. Iโ€™m glad to start a new journey with them.
