Technical Monster Hunter Online (PS2), Connecting to Online

Can anyone give me a sure way to connect to the Monster Hunter online using my PS2 slim?
I have already patch my backup DVD (SLUS_208.96) with the Disc ID = XX XX 00 30 44 (XX XX is random generated hex number) I have already done the network configuration file in the PS2 and successfully tested it When i tried to login, it gives the DNAS error code -833 (Region error) This is where i m stuck. Pls anyone, help me  |

i miss hunting on the ps2.
sadly my machine cant read DVD's properly like it should. or else i'll be there 24-7  condolesense to you TS  i trade 2 times to get my machine to be able to play online |

TS like snipersnake said u need ps2 ntsc/uc to play ntsc/uc game if your ps2 is version 9 & above . if you you ps2 version 8 & below you can change ps2 id tu ntsc/uc , since your ps2 is slim pity to you.
