It's tint. Not tinted. God damn it.

Also, what do you mean didn't follow rule? 35% is still within spec for rear windows.

Always play safe.

Always do the right thing, right away.

Otherwise, JPJ will ask you to go to his right during roadblocks.

Then ask you to scrap the tint and tint the windows again.

Winscreen and front side. My old car current tint 50% windscreen, and all 35%. Still see through in day time. I show middle finger people still see me and show me back.

This is what I worry. My colleague tint 50% all sides also kena. He drive only x70 and JPJ kacau during road block. On the spot tear windscreen.

But other friend tint side 50% but JPJ block and scan. Result 40% because didn't remove original tint but no kena saman. I Confuse as fuk.

better do the scan again after you tint

because certain glass by default will -x% of VLT

if at borderline then high chance kena farked by jpj

like my rx8 which used cromax glass

no tint direct scan already drop almost 10% or VLT ~90%

As queuing behind them I totally can't see what's going on in front anymore.

very tough to comply 100% if you buying CBU spec cars esp those from japan as they tend to have colored glass already

my cars mostly tint around 40-50% VLT for the fronts and 20% VLT for the rears, never kena saman or kacau before

just koyak the fronts when you want to do any puspakom inspection thats it

darker tint will not help in cutting off the heat.
you need to look at the UV filtration rate, not on light penetration rate.

Glaring? you can always wear a sunglass.
those who use super dark tint because want to cut down the glare, i always wonder how you guys drive at night.

Darker tint for the same category of films are usually better in uv filtration. You can check say, 3M crystalline series and compare the specs for crystalline 40 vs 60.
Of course Ah Beng shop 0% VLT film may not be better than 3M's 70% film lah. Still, I think Ah Beng's 0VLT is better than his 50VLT in terms of heat reduction.

Using maximum black tint for my 3 rear windows.. Front 3 windows all above legal % but so far no problems when police road block.. It helps if u use "nice" number plates like me... Usually police seldom kacau

what i dun understand is.....got pulis hide behind pillar check for seat belt, henpon usage etc of those driving past.......how he can see the diver i dunno cos my small town, many use this chaplang RM30-50 whole car tint dark type, confirm2 can't see anything inside, even with dome light on.
At the roadblock just in front, those that follow the tint rule may kena cos they can see inside, yg gelap gempita - letgo gitu

mad crazy heat these days and it doesn't look as tho it's gonna get any better
and a really good tint will set you back thousands

Oh those type.

My car park access (white card) got impacted by the TnG RFID sticker, not because of the 3M crystalline tint.

Currently following. Next time will not follow. The 70% for front windscreen rule is useless. Gonna go 50% for windscreen next time.

They'll promise you heaven & earth...

...then install inferior film also you won't know.

Best you ensure the shop has a spectrometer to measure before & after.

Because sometimes, before installation they show & demo to you their good ones. But later on, install a cheaper on your car instead.

My case lagi best, they gave 7 years warranty...but shop gulung tikar after 3+ years. RIP warranty.

In my case, no noticeable detection speed with windows down or up at condo gantry. And I am using the thicker anti-theft Scotshield Crystalline.

Smart tag, cannot go through most of the time.

Using 20% for all rear windows. It's quite dark but still can see clearly.

My 1st car 10 years ago agent free tint. Low quality brand and fully compliance JPJ. My customer from Europe come sit in my car sweat till ketiak wet.

Then I go tint 35% vlt all sides with 90% IR. Quite good. But I always go out at night clubbing. Police kacau few times. Say tint dark, cannot see inside if no wear seatbelt or play handphone police cannot see. Die die ask rm50 kopi.

JPJ so far didn't kena before. But only heard need to tear off if roadblock and go JPJ inspection. Money not issue, is the time to go do this and that.
