It's tint. Not tinted. God damn it.

Also, what do you mean didn't follow rule? 35% is still within spec for rear windows.

rear windows can 100%

This is what I worry. My colleague tint 50% all sides also kena. He drive only x70 and JPJ kacau during road block. On the spot tear windscreen.

But other friend tint side 50% but JPJ block and scan. Result 40% because didn't remove original tint but no kena saman. I Confuse as fuk.

Perhaps must show proper documentations etc.?

you can do that if u have approval letter

or dato

else ..just wait kena tear then dont cry

kena tear is 1 thing ..need to spend time to go back n let them "confirm" is another hassle

What is there to be confused?
Most reputable tint shop will test & voucher for you when they give you the tint warranty.

VLT decreases over time apparently.

very tough to comply 100% if you buying CBU spec cars esp those from japan as they tend to have colored glass already

my cars mostly tint around 40-50% VLT for the fronts and 20% VLT for the rears, never kena saman or kacau before

just koyak the fronts when you want to do any puspakom inspection thats it

Some people dont know there’s a new ruling for tint

70% front, 50% passenger and driver’s sides, and there’s no requirement for rear screens

darker tint will not help in cutting off the heat.
you need to look at the UV filtration rate, not on light penetration rate.

Glaring? you can always wear a sunglass.
those who use super dark tint because want to cut down the glare, i always wonder how you guys drive at night.

Not UV filteration la, it's the TSER that counts ...
