Hi all, planning on getting a W212 E300 (not the hybrid one) .. 2011/2012 model 3.0 V6

Why not go for E250 with the 2.0 turbo engine? IMO the 3L V6 is not as nice as the CGI engine.

cam gear selalu kacau. buy china make u cry. buy original, u run road.
7 speed?same as the v6 transmission. can buy cheap repair kit, can buy recond.

white smoke?if u lucky, just a small cheap fix can settle. else standby change turbo.

Pre fl is a bit uncle liao..FL lagi cun but don't have V6 right.

w212 generally reliable. minor ecu issue but replaceable.

msia conti driver usually not taking good care for their car, bcos too expensive and usually they are stingy

W212 is a pretty reliable car ..doors close like a bank vault and supremely stable on highways…

Tons of electronic parts were added into w213 , can expect these parts to cost a bomb as oem / China parts are not available ..

a bit low on power for the displacement compared to a bmw counterpart but its a bulletproof engine
