As an old-time programmer, no longer in job industry, I don't know what can I contribute to the coding world.... Yes, I built some hobby projects, but that are not useful. Any suggestion?

Maybe I should improve my reverse-engineering skill, and try some Flare-On challenge.

Interesting points. I think certain RE is targeting threat actor's malware, not programmer's products.... Yes, once the software is fixed or obsolete, the exploit became meaningless, but exploit helps grow the software to become more mature and stable.

I have to admit that sometimes programmers do program for own use / convenience first, then others people will only then start using it.
