Switching from Maxis to Digi

Currently using Maxis Prepaid and would like to switch to Digi Prepaid without changing number.
I had quite high balance on Maxis around RM280. Will my balance remain after switching or it will burn? What about verification for certain website/apps using the same number? Does Telco switch have any effect on it even maintaining the same number? |

What do you guys suggest i do with the balance before switching knowing that it will burn anyway?
