Wow....if shadow also give problem then I am really worrying, especially when passing the tunnel/flyover during hot day.

myvi ASA also 100% camera what.. ok only never heard of such problem on myvi before..

and with the volume of myvi's being sold out there easily double or triple the amount of honda's with such systems as well..

my benz sometime also will random prompt when there are sudden environment change (like from sunny day go into underground parking) or like this kind of bridge shadow

it will auto open all sensor , rear view camera and start beep beep beep

not sure how benz front collision work..sometime it will auto disable entire parktronic system for like 5 to 10min (maybe mismatch result in between camera vs radar kot)

Those camera based sensor is shit only radar is more reliable. The moment Tesla shift from radar to vision, it's auto drive system has gone shit. Even their own engineer spoke up against it.

camera based similar like our eyes, from bright space to dark, camera is blided, tot got wall or something, then hard brake.

I wouldn't buy top spec cars for this reason. Avoid cars with lots of sensors.

then u can adjust the sensitivity to standard or sensitive

this is old w213 ..newer UI i remember got different naming like LOW/MID/HIGH

play around when i get the car ..after that just save according to profile ..when my dad drive ..he use his own profile

Now that you ask, I just realized city v-sensing came with digital dashboard so owners can change the setting for honda sensing.

All this while I've been wondering why v spec without sensing only get analog dashboard. Now I know why.

But so far no issue. Enter underground auto on LED lights. Come out tunnel or underground auto off.

Enter underground even waze auto turn dark. Come out bright again. Same as mzd connect screen.

auto headlight use different sensor, usually placed at the dashboard like Honda and Merz. the AEB etc using those either camera/ radar or both based

well, for some cars even if you turn it off, it will automatically turn on after you restart the car. it wont stay off. so you need to off it everytime you drive. surely sometimes you forgot or fedup and never bother to turn it off

well, all i can say is really good luck

the problem is the buyer for the car in this incident never bought the car for that system, he mentioned that he never use adaptive cruise control even once. he prefers to drive it himself.
he also tried a few times to turn off the CMBS but it continues to turn on after you restart the car, so he simply didnt do it anymore.

must be fed-up if you have to manually remember to turn off the CMBS each time you start your car.

what makes it worst is that he actually is alert , and did continue to press the accelerator but the car seems cut off and does not respond to his action.

This is the craziest shit I ever heard. A capable and fit driver losing complete control of his vehicle. If in America siap class action in kambing.

CHR 2017 pre crash braking does not really kick in but it just gives you a warning. 99.9% of the time it's quite accurate. but once I got a warning to brake immediately when it's empty ahead. it soon went away though. not sure if the brake will really kick in or not. haven't tried.

sounds like cross is less likely to encounter phantom braking? Cross adopts radar + cam for its pre-collision system.

just the other day i said on another thread.
car safety is less to do with all these detection system, rather actually a car which is well built & tuned hav good grip & giv driver good control of the vehicle.

this is y something i really hate buying premium spec when it comes wit these warning/detection features.

damn, when ADAS screw you over.

i personally don't like all these fancy features; yes it is a safety perk for the driver but sometimes when it doesn't work properly, you get screwed over.

So often lalu this road with my HRV. No issues so far even with similar shadows on the flyover.

Does driver use ACC during the incident?
