U put up a show because u dont want family to know you are out of work?

Also age discrimination is a big red flag
*
Embarrassed to say, yes
And I would prefer to be outside because it's quieter, I can apply to jobs and go to interviewers peacefully, compared to being at home feeling like a crap and being asked about it every other time (I know how a shame I am for being 26 yo and have literally no real work experience)

Yes I know keeping on job hopping because I got easily overwhelmed isn't the way to do things, I've been trying to "fix myself", it's a long story

By the way,

I got a job offer which expires on next Wednesday (said to give response by 31st) but I'm still waiting for interview results from two companies which I would prefer to work with. Not sure if it's appropriate to ask here, should I accept the first job and jump when I got offers from the two companies, or ask if it's possible to extend the expiring job offer's deadline?

NGL I've been applying out semi-actively since Feb/March earlier this year. Everytime I get an interview its always...

1. got offered a salary that's really shit, lower than what my current company is offering
2. they just reject or never get back to me for an update at all

Now I'm wondering if its even worth the job hunt or not and just stay put in my current miserable job lol

take 1 step at a time. Google for guidance on how to present a good CV. Watch youtube on interview stuffs. Also try Chatgpt on sample answer to interview questions. all these will train you with CV writing and interview skillset.

Watch YouTube videos on this. Try ask help from doctor if needed.

Also try taking regular walks in a park nearby your house. It helps a bit.

Rileks and just treat it like a casual date. After date is over, go back and re-evaluate your interview and see how u could have done better. Repeat, rinse and continue until success.

I think now is an employer's market.

heard not so good due to freeze in recruitment.

but the higher the position, obviously the less vacancy,

disagree, now the market is in mass hiring. My junior receiving non stop job offer and interview. It just not as frenzy as 2021 but the hiring back.

You make it sound weird. I myself already resign then only find job at least 3 times. Always got job but maybe because all the resign i give notice period 2 and 3 months so never really got any job gap except those i request join late like 1 week to rest first

Sometimes, I think it's quite industry specific. Certain industries are running hot, while others are cool and in layoff mode.

Id think you have bigger issues to be addressed...not gonna be resolved by switching jobs

Damn, i had this same thing when i was starting out back in 2014. Get anxiety and overwhelmed, then just quit the job. Find another job, then same cycle. anxiety and quit.

then in the period without a job, dress up every morning like going to work, then go to library and spend the whole day there. Had to put up this show, cause staying at my parents house. Until today they dont know i was job hopping and jobless during that period, lol.

It is employee's market. Non-stop offer especially in constructions. The thing is salary. Every time talk about salary, sure kena lowballed. I saw some companies looking for people like forever, probably they keep lowballing people and can't find the right candidate.
