QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Jun 1 2023, 10:56 AM) they need 300nm for moving this huge s car. why not they just use the 1.8T without BSG. die2 need to extend the use of 1.5T engine. in the end they still sell the 1.8T engine for X70 Premium with sunroof. 300nm combined torque for a kerb weight of 1750kg, is not That bad Bro. you cant just based from the outside size. how about those Alphard / Vellfire with at least 2000kg kerb weight and using the 2.5L NA engine with only 250nm of torque to haul All its heavy ass. Or the notorious Innova with truck chassis that weighs 1700kg yet have an underpowered 2.0 engine and 6 speed auto box. I've driven the Alphard and its meant to be driven slowly, not meant to sprint at red lights. This post has been edited by SleeplessEyes: Jun 3 2023, 03:15 PM

QUOTE(GamersFamilia @ Sep 14 2023, 06:54 PM) only seen twice on the road , it seems like not as popular as x50 & x70 For the price and if needed 3 row seat, i rather take Chery Tiggo 8. Interior is basically with Merz part, maybe copycat. Engine 2.0T with DCT. 250hp 390nm is almost similar to C300. Price a steal cz Kulim made.

The video is very enticing and its screaming "Take my money", however after the recent fire cases, everything now hinges on what Proton intends to do next with the recall, that will determine if its a success or a failure.
Is it even actually a recall in the first place ? A friend of mine who owns a X90, is struggling to get his X90 in the SC ASAP for the recall. The voice messages from Proton salesman, shared by my friend, does not sound convincing at all like he knows what must be done.
Finally if the sales figures of X90 todate is not impressive judging that I have not seen another X90 on the road yet, I wonder if the management is going to cut their losses or salvage whatever is left of the X90. The ball is definately in Proton's court at the moment.

it seems from some pictures it's due to additional sound proofing material that proton added that is not found in the PRC version
probably the wires are not suppose to be touching the sound proofing materials

The ball is definately in Proton's court at the moment. Even b4 this accident, they dont sell well like x50, x70 time. Stock was readily available. Last time all queue up for getting x50, x70. Plus this accident, unless there is some major part change for the wiring, then only confident is flowing. But doubt Proton will do it cz everything need Geely approval
