Today I finally tried the Penang restaurant!


Char kuew teow..doesn’t taste like char kuew teow at all, more like a unholy mix of Malay wet and Chinese char kuew teow…disappointed but at least it is fried with 猪油炸, something I haven’t ate in a very long time


Hokkien mee…when I saw cabbage on it, I already feel the disappointment… :x
In the end, fail also..idk how describe, like missing something in the soup, taste absolutely not like prawn soup.

Planning to go back this December for two weeks..can’t wait, only another half a year to go

Well, that’s possible, sure bankrupt kot. Inb4, My waifu said my BKT taste better than MY one, can open shop already

I think any vege except kangkung on hokkien mee is basically no go, especially cabbage, sure fk up the taste of the soup.
Open and run by two penang hokkien Lang, old auntie and uncle. The review manyak 5 star like the most authentic dishes you can find in JP…
