Ya went to lazada to check it out saw price is rm90 upwards. Really would like to know what the pro and cons of this piaa wipers vs my cheapo rm12 silicon wipers?? Is it the main reason people suggest this wipers is for their tahan lama reason???

becareful of fakes...the price really tell which is real
there are no cons for PIAA wiper because of the mixture cons of cheap silicone is that it scratches your windscreen both theoretically will last but depends how good the silicone quality is
I bought STARKE silicone wipers from TESCO when they were clearing stock at RM9 per piece in 2018. So i got 2 different sizes to be used on Myvi. Still using it today without any problems.
At a small booth just outside the ground floor entrance to Carrefour, Subang Jaya. It's now Aeon Big and the wiper booth disappeared years ago, otherwise I'd have bought another pair of Sumo. The Mr DIY ones are a decent replacement.

No need to buy the entire wiper assembly la...... just search in shopee for "piaa blade refill" or "piaa refill" and get the cheapest original/genuine ones.....
the reason is most of the timw, only the wiper blades are torn/degraded. so just change out the blade only, and save some money for rainy days ahead.
change process for blades is as easy as changing the entire wiper out.
I tested many, those rubbers for me will last mostly 1 year, PIAA will last double.
Which PIAA?
PIAA Aero Vogue can be refill, my choice. After refill, I use the old ones, cut it for the rear wiper. Works great for rears as well even thou old.
PIAA Radix not so good for me cos cannot refill and the design is conventional type. Even though it can last longer than rubber
For me for my wipers, Silicone bestest, Graphite, then rubber which I stay away from.
However, take note. If you are the type that wants wipers to clear off bird shit or mud, then Rubber is best as the material is harder. Silicone is too soft to do that. So for 4X4 that is usually used off-road, I will go for Rubber.
Also, Silicone wipers are not cheap, so you think about it.
However, best wipers I've used are those Michelin brand (now discontinued), doesn't wipe as good, but last longest even though rubber. And cost half of silicone. Pity now no more already.
