this is perhaps the best summary of the accident. Totally agree with you.

One thing for sure, the BMW driver will most probably be charged and sentenced for reckless driving, judging by the circumstances and speed and injury caused. Motorcyclist's contributory negligence will only reduce BMW driver's sentencing, I think.

today I was driving on main road, then a motor rode out of small junction. Immediately thought of this accident & slowed down. Don't want to be like BMW driver
