The only way to "confirm" is to get the dash cam footage from the BMW. But looking at how the biker stray from left to center of the road right after that junction, very very high chance the bike just exit from the junction.

That's my deduction as a former biker. No reason for her to stray into middle of the narrow lane if she didn't just exit from junction or if she is aware of the oncoming car.

Anyway, driver definitely guilty. But if proven the biker also salah, maybe slightly less punishment if driver got good lawyer.

Road accidents are not considered "murder case" even someone is killed, its always reckless driving, unless you found evidence that the driver has motive from the beginning.

The penalty for murder case in Malaysia is always death sentence if found guilty.

So the road was upgraded and the straight (main) road was extended. And yet, the stop lines were still maintain as it was before.

Just checked google street view. Looks like there's no warning sign that there's a junction ahead along the new widen stretch.

For sake of discussing what went wrong, motorists shouldn't be faulted if they didn't stop. They are on the straight main road, would be ridiculous to expect drivers to slam on the brakes when they saw the white line from a near short distance away.

For sake of the accident (and how the investigating officer would see it too), it is reckless driving.

Why? I have only see the photo of the point of accident (when the motorcyclist was hit) and not the video. Imho, the motorbike is already directly in front of the car. The car hit her directly from behind.

Actually kan, this kind of T junction is so common it's everywhere in malaysia. But draw two solid lines on the straight road without traffic lights, that's odd.

Everyone has to stop at this junction. This is why the lines are there.
Bike likely arrived at the junction first so she have the right of way.
BMW is wrong, no doubt about it. They will have to deal with the consequences.
