You better recondition your mentality now so in future you won't do something that you will regret afterwards.

emo and ego reaction rarely end up well for any party.
*
Very true but I can't as it's getting worse if you can only see what I see everyday.
When I drive I am always careful and give riders all the space they need, so that not only me that reaches home safely but they too.

When I ride, the amount of stress is crazy. I have to anticipate every inconceivable damn stupid thing when others are around, so that hopefully I can go home in 1 piece.

If I can follow the rules when I am a driver, I don't see why others cannot ? Bloody ridiculous. This case will most likely be over even before it started and nothing will happen to the BMW driver. Cash is King. Nabeh.

If only this BMW had stopped where the line was, the lady would not be dead.

Everyday this old Proton Iswara Aeroback will speed like he is being chased by the police, even though there is a HUMP in front of my place, a residential area and opposite my place, is the playground.

Someday when this SOB hit someone child or kills a child. Some should not be allowed to drive. Full stop. Just like some who should not be allowed to be our PM etc.

The only way to "confirm" is to get the dash cam footage from the BMW. But looking at how the biker stray from left to center of the road right after that junction, very very high chance the bike just exit from the junction.
*
Not stray. Road design is such that the lane the deceased was exiting from actually enters into the BMW lane which is a Single Lane, it's because the houses have special curb design that takes up valuable road space until terpaksa stray into the BMW path of travel.

That's my deduction as a former biker. No reason for her to stray into middle of the narrow lane if she didn't just exit from junction or if she is aware of the oncoming car.
*
I need bro Imp Bron help as an expert witness. He is good with distance, time and speed.

The problem with accidents is speed differential.

The slow speed that the deceased was travelling when the deceased exited the junction, the deceased may not even seen that the BMW was there or the deceased may have seen the BMW but it is too far away. In the deceased judgement if the deceased did see the BMW, it would be too far away and it was safe to pass. Besides the BMW has to stop.

The HIGH speed that the BMW was moving in, the BMW would have covered so much distance in such a short span of time. Even after colliding with the deceased, the BMW was still unable to stop until further down the road.

If Imp Bron could work out those figures, it would be fantastic.

police probably got dashcam footage from the BMW.

Anyway, driver definitely guilty. But if proven the biker also salah, maybe slightly less punishment if driver got good lawyer.
*
A good lawyer means out of court settlement. Just like the Kajang-Bangi Highway Murder case.

Moral of the story for bikers. Tengok baik baik. Tengok salah mampos.

murder is criminal charge wor? can settle out of court?
*
From the beginning I said it was murder and the police did charge under murder. But the case vanished. Until today nothing. Maybe I was dreaming that day and there was no murder on highway. Cash is King 👑.

Road accidents are not considered "murder case" even someone is killed, its always reckless driving, unless you found evidence that the driver has motive from the beginning.

The penalty for murder case in Malaysia is always death sentence if found guilty.
*
That case had sufficient evidence for a murder charge. It was much more than just a ordinary reckless driving case. The police are not stupid to recklessly charge that Innova driver for murder. Where is case ? What happened to it ? Good lawyer. Yup more like it. You happy, my client happy, case closed.

So the road was upgraded and the straight (main) road was extended. And yet, the stop lines were still maintain as it was before.

Just checked google street view. Looks like there's no warning sign that there's a junction ahead along the new widen stretch.

For sake of discussing what went wrong, motorists shouldn't be faulted if they didn't stop. They are on the straight main road, would be ridiculous to expect drivers to slam on the brakes when they saw the white line from a near short distance away.

For sake of the accident (and how the investigating officer would see it too), it is reckless driving.

Why? I have only see the photo of the point of accident (when the motorcyclist was hit) and not the video. Imho, the motorbike is already directly in front of the car. The car hit her directly from behind.

Ok. Not going to comment more as this will be a case in court.

Section 41, reckless driving causing death, at least 5k5y.
*
Nope. Town Council had those lines drawn across the road, everyone abides by it. No 2 ways about it.

Bro., do you understand why the Town Council had those lines drawn in the first place or not on the straight road ?

But I think the city or town council is negligent.
*
For that kena open another file to determine if indeed the Town Council was indeed negligent. 🤣🤣🤣

The reason there were lines on the straight road is because anyone coming to the T-junction from the taman, they are allowed to turn left unto the single lane road, that the BMW was speeding on. Hence that is the reason why the lines are there, so that road users follow the road signs.

No 2 ways about it. The reason why there is an accident is because the BMW thought that the lines were just for hiasan or got too much paint, so Town Council workers suka suka draw what they like.

Actually kan, this kind of T junction is so common it's everywhere in malaysia. But draw two solid lines on the straight road without traffic lights, that's odd.
*
Irregardless whether it is odd or not, when we drive it must be based on road signs and signages.

If we drive based what is common, bila uncommon aje terus accident betul ? Mana boleh ini macam, betul ?

Everyone has to stop at this junction. This is why the lines are there.
Bike likely arrived at the junction first so she have the right of way.
BMW is wrong, no doubt about it. They will have to deal with the consequences.

Like they say, the graveyard is full of people who have the right of way. Rest in peace soya lady.
*
Betul ke graveyard full of people who have the right of way ? Gila sial. What an eye opener. 🙂

So that I hope everyone follows and abides by the road and traffic regulations, because I want to go home alive and I trust other riders too (the sane ones of course).

At that speed, dunno if the deceased spinal cord putus the moment impacted the BMW or not. Hopefully autopsy can determine this.
