Just thought of asking this as there is possibility that I may have to go with 215 60 R16 if the stock size of tyre for my car (205 60 R16) is not available. I'm still waiting for the boss of the tyre shop to check on the size.
Some checks on the tyre size calculator and comparison revealed that going from 205 60 R16 to 215 60 R16 is still acceptable as the difference in diameter is less than 3%. It's just the speedometer may be recording a slower speed. Any other differences in the drive if using a slightly wider tyre apart from slightly higher fuel consumption? Handling-wise not much difference right?
