Hi, currently I had multiple numbers in use.

Unfortunately, all my sims use the Celcom line. In some parts of the location I visit, Celcom coverage is not that good.

so I plan to MNP one of my sims to any of these two ISP.

Initially, I planned to port into Digi Postpaid 40. Then I found that Hotlink under maxis also offers Postpaid 40.

Both offer a 30GB quota. but the difference is Digi has 5G booster option and offers VoLTE. while Maxis offers unlimited sms.

Coverage-wise, is Maxis better than Digi, or does Booth have their own problems?

I afraid that with the combination of CelcomDigi dragging Digi to become worst.

Last time maxis used to be fast and good now so so only , but since DIGI and celcom merge - they are cheaper and much more reliable . Most of the packages are similar but now broadband for DiGI/celcom is cheaper than maxis if bundle with Postpaid.

CELCOM has the best coverage in Malaysia -- i go offshore also can get.

In my experience, Maxis used to be good.

Now many place I go Maxis very slow.

Despite that, they're expensive.

Digi has caught up with Maxis these days, and for cheaper price.

A lot of convenience with Digi as well, even prepaid has eSIM. Maxis until today, eSIM is only for postpaid.

The last time I change Maxis SIM, had to call them ask for voLTE and if the device is not in their list, they blame device. Have to convince them our device supports voLTE then only they'll proceed. Whereas Digi, the SIM comes with voLTE enabled right away, no need call to activate.

don't want to waste time. hahaha. only have 1 sim to port out. Other sims I use to generate money, other sims offer cheap airtime (XOX).

My office is around PJ and some parts of PJ celcom internet is not that good. got full bar but no connection on the internet.

also around my home in Sepang, Celcom is unstable around commercial hubs.

Both have their own problem. You must try first at your place to see which operator has better coverage and speed. There are places where Maxis is good and Digi is bad and vice versa.

I happen to use all 3 telco and Maxis is still my top pick.

It's more reliable than DiGi and Celcom in Klang Valley.

I believe DiGi and Celcom started to merge their network as I notice they frequently have the same signal and same issue of things not loading.
