I sat in the Cx-5 and i liked the Cx-5. I never got to sit inside the CX-3 cos I dont know anyone who owns this.
Anyone care to give some opinion about the pros and cons of both models?

Why no you go to Mazda showroom and check it out? you can test drive both models if you like.

not planning to buy yet. Wanna survey first. my Cx-5 owner friend said she tested the Honda HR-v and said the Mazda is superior and way more comfy....so she bought the CX-5

The size different, if prefer compact then cx3 or else cx5.

Both also premium finished, probably cx3 more curvy and sexy.

Power in cx3 2.0 will be much more powerful than cx5 2.0. Or else will be huge price gap.

go to test drive, won't need to buy one. When sale man call to follow up, just said you decide to buy another brand.

Test drove both last time. Totally against the CX3 cz the rear legroom is smaller than a viva

Both using physically a same 2.0 Engine but difference tuning. https://www.wapcar.my/compare-cars/mazda-cx...1=17815&c2=3074

On paper CX5 2.0 gets more hp and torque from the same 2.0 engine, but considering the weight, maybe Cx3 feel more power cz lighter

ya the additional 300kg is like ur car fully loaded with another 4-5 adult that kind of burden.

then the peak torque at CX3 can achieved at 2800rpm, while cx5 at 4000rpm, under what situation cx3 also can accelerate very fast among the NA engine.

for the 2.0 engine, the 0-100kmh in cx3 at 9.2s while cx5 at 10.4s

CX-3 has the same chassis as the Mazda 2.

Very very cramp cabin space. I'm vertically challenged, even I feel claustrophobic inside CX-3 & Mazda 2.

If want to buy CX-5, the current 1 got the best chassis & suspension to buy & own (Rear still is multilink)

Newer replacement CX-50 will move into torsion beam, which more into cost cutting. (FYI Mazda been financial red, making loss for years)
This is not good for a sport, fun handling oriented brand and will be more restricted with electronic control.

Yes, Mazda model you need to minus at least 1 segment from competitors.
That is their weakness in term of interior space, most of their rides like Mazda2/3, CX-3/30 can be treated as 2+2 concept, which the 2 seats behind mostly are for kids for small people.
