 External hard disk repair, Looking for shop to repair

Hi guys,

i am looking for shop or expert to have my old external hdd repaired.

When i plugged it in, the hdd is alive, but it wont detect on the PC

i suspect that, it the processor inside or anything that launch it is not functioning

any suggestion on where i can get it fixed? i need it done as there is so much important documents inside unsure.gif

Search for hdd recovery solution. I found one near midvalley. Pretty steady guy and reasonable fees

Put your ear on the external hdd casing, do you hear clicking sound (especially at the beginning of the powerup). If no clicking sound, sometimes it could be something as simple as worn out cables or connector.

And as the saying goes, backup, backup, backup.

 

Change to:
