Hi, Dido looks so cute. When u go to the Vet, weigh him and see how heavy he is, my Mooks was only 1.42KG nia when we went for her last jab but she has gain weight lor over the recent weeks..so i dont think ur Dido looks heavy lor from the pics..

Erm the ears ah..looks ok ah..dun do cropping..so cruel to the dog nia..show u my Mooks ears, bigger and lagi weird, one side drop and the other one standing..

i think to prevent ticks more is to not bring them out especially during the rainy seasons or even when it rains for a couple of days without sufficient sunlight afterwards...coz ticks are afraid of sunlight it seems..(heat la)

my bf read from a paper or sth saying a pretty gd way to get rid of ticks after infected to to put your dog under the sun for a while (of course not a grassland) after his/her bath...the ticks might just leave your dog as the heat from the sun is unbearable for them...

and i think better don handfeed your furkids too often lo...coz if nto later when they get used to it dy then they won eat without u feeding them de..

whenever he starts chewing the paper, tell him firmly no and smakc him lightly on his butt...not too lightly la at least let know he chew newspaper brings him punishment...

Yes, they drop their baby teeth to get adult teeth. That is why called teething period lah. Don't expect your dog to spit out the baby teeth coz dogs cannot spit. Sometimes if lucky, it would fall off but sometimes the teeth drops during eating and it would then be swallowed. No worries as it is perfectly natural.

When a pup is teething, he would like to chew. Normally teething period is around 4 months to 5 months and it would go on till the pup is 8 or 9 months.... some take longer, it depends lah.

Now, your pup tear up news paper is not coz teething period lah.... he just wanna play. Newspaper or any paper base product is nice to chew. Is something like a crunchy crispy object to play with. To avoid such behaviour, get toys for your dog. Then you train your dog.

Put newspaper on the floor. When he go and tear the newspaper, scold him no. Pull him aside and give him his toy to chew. Repeat this on and on. When he ignores the newspaper, praise him and give a treat or something.

For pee and poo, normally not every dog is successful with newspaper if they have never been trained to use newspaper properly since young. So the best place for such things is actually grass. All dogs favour grass or other places better than newspaper.

If you wanna train your pup to use the newspaper to pee and poo, you must understand and learn his pee and poo time. Normally puppies pee and poo after play, after they wake up and after food. So everytime you think he wanna pee and poo, quickly bring him to the newspaper. Make sure the newspaper got some old pee smell so your pup can recognize it. Then be patient, wait till the pup wanna pee and poo. Once successfully done, praise and give a treat. Positive training, never hit a pup during it's growing months.... it can do more harm than good.

wow! placing a square feet of grass indoor, fake grass or real grass?

if real grass, definitely cleaner than outside ones, but still, a bit hard to clean up xD

actually he wont lor.. u confine him in a place, lets say like a cage ah... then he will think that is his home.. dog dun like do biz at their home de wor....

i think if using grass...it might b difficult to clean lo...n u ned to change the soil very often...cos the soil absorb the pee.....n soil contain microorganisme...so it is abit hard to keep ur furkid out from them....

for mikey i oso oni change his pad once per day..sometimes when he no mood to drink much water then can one pad = 2 days lolz..

he pee n poo both at the same place now so when he poo i oni pick up and flush

setting grass is not exactly hygienic i think...coz may have worms and other icky things inside..plus i think u will have extra work taking care of the grass too la.. coz u r gonna have to do extra gardening work

the pad she talking is wee wee pad lor......

For my fifi, not ngam using wee pads. She pees alot, one time already can soaked the pad, haha............Mayb need to buy expensive ones, with higher absorbent gua.......
But for small size dogs, wee pad ok to use.
Nonono, wat she means is, mikey pee and poo on the wee pad. For poo, she just pick up the poo with tissue paper (or mayb just wif bare hands, haha....), then throw into the toilet bowl, then flush..........
The wee pad of course just bungkus and throw away lah.
