and hor, this 1800, kenot get in black? i think the onkyo is in black

Onkyo AV receivers are black for the US market, silver for Europe and even gold for Hong Kong market. Most likely the models u r getting in Malaysia will be silver, but better to check/ask before confirming purchase. Personally, I prefer silver.

dem it, im poison...
and most importantly, wen i listen to CDs, will it have the effect the singer is standing next to me singing? biggrin.gif

oh ya, so now i need to get another dedicated CD plyaer? shit

Standard audio CDs are in stereo, so all this DTS HDMA & Dolby TrueHD mumbo jumbo doesn't really apply. Unless of course u r listening to those DTS audio CDs (5.1 type), then those are multichannel audio to give u that "surround" effect.

No need for dedicated CD player unless u r the audiophile type. Rip all your CDs into lossless format (e.g. FLAC) and archive on the hard disk and play back from there e.g. using your TviX 4100 or dedicated streamers e.g. Squeezebox (which has a Burr-Brown processor to boot).
