Standard audio CDs are in stereo, so all this DTS HDMA & Dolby TrueHD mumbo jumbo doesn't really apply. Unless of course u r listening to those DTS audio CDs (5.1 type), then those are multichannel audio to give u that "surround" effect. and most importantly, wen i listen to CDs, will it have the effect the singer is standing next to me singing?

No need for dedicated CD player unless u r the audiophile type. Rip all your CDs into lossless format (e.g. FLAC) and archive on the hard disk and play back from there e.g. using your TviX 4100 or dedicated streamers e.g. Squeezebox (which has a Burr-Brown processor to boot).
